Deportation / Removal

We have represented clients in removal/deportation proceedings for nearly two decades. We have represented clients from all over the world. We will find the form relief you qualify for, we will defend your rights in the immigration court, and do everything we can to represent you well. Furthermore, we will give you an honest assessment of your immigration prospects so that you can make informed decisions about your case.
We also represent individuals who are in removal proceedings because of criminal convictions and work on post conviction relief in Utah. We often consult with defense attorneys to help clients resolve criminal issues in a manner that avoids immigration consequences or lessens the immigration consequences of a conviction.

U Visa/VAWA

Have you been the victim of domestic violence, abuse, or some other vicious or violent crime while residing in the United States?
You may qualify for a U Visa that can give you stability and confidence while you heal. The U visa is a temporary visa provided to victims of certain qualifying crimes. It can lead to Permanent Residency.
If you have been abused or suffered cruelty at the hands of a spouse or child that is a Resident or Citizen, you may also qualify for relief under the VAWA program.
We understand that victims of the crimes need not only our help, but our discretion and our understanding.
We can help you overcome these horrible experiences and provide you with legal protections while you heal.

Criminal Defense

A criminal conviction can mean the end of your life in the United States. If you’ve been charged with a crime it is imperative that you consult with an experienced Immigration Attorney before you make any decisions. Even seemingly minor offenses can have grave immigration consequences. Our firm specializes in the intersection between immigration and criminal law. Our focus is finding a resolution that protects your immigration status first and foremost.
If you’ve already been convicted, you should still consult with an immigration attorney to understand how it will impact your immigration status, what you can do to mitigate the consequences, and what rights and defenses you have should the immigration service seek to deport you.

Immigrations Bonds

If you or a loved one are currently being held in the custody of the Immigration and Customs Service (ICE) we help determine if you qualify for a bond, ask the immigration judge to set the bond, and then give advice on how to get the bond paid so that you or your loved one can be released from custody.
